FOX TIRE has its roots in 1955, when partners Donald Fox and Leon Kramer opened Kramer & Fox, which would later become Mr. Fox Tire Co. They would spend hours picking up scrap tires and sorting through the good ones to create their inventory. In the infancy of the business, they would mount these tires by hand without the benefit of a machine until they had enough money to buy the proper equipment.

Don later took sole control of the business and began to focus on automotive services as well. His goal was to provide the customer with quality products and service at an affordable price. Don would often work 70+ hour weeks and would never let a customer walk, even if it meant not turning a profit or losing money. His generosity was one of his greatest attributes.
